As a person who has travelled to over 25 states in Nigeria, going to a motor park at 5:30 a.m. isn’t new to me. However, you have to be extra cautious around dubious characters. Clutching your bag, wondering whether you chose the right transport company, and scared of getting robbed, you already understand why picking a good road transport service and going to their own private terminals is the best option for safety, security, and comfort.
In Nigeria, road travel is not just common, itās a way of life, unlike countries like the USA, UK, Italy, etc where flights and trains are used more often for vehicle transportation.
Remember: ExpressMove.com.ng is an official Nigerian website that helps you move from one place to another, either you’re moving from an apartment to a new one, changing office address or want to book a ticket with any of these transportation companies.
The first business I had with Libra Motors and why I started using them was through their logistics services. I got a package delivered to me using their Libra Logistics service, and I was surprised at how efficient and easy it was to get my package, and yes, it was secure.

A Simple Introduction to Libra Motors in 2026.
Libra Transport Company is a Nigerian road transport company offering state-to-state bus services to a large number of Nigerian states, with terminals in these states. Over the years, Libra has grown into a huge transportation company that rivals competitors such asĀ Abia Line and evenĀ ABC Motors.
The owner of this company, Libra Motors main goal is to offer Nigerians the following benefits as listed below:
- Long-distance travel,
- Logistics and Parcel Delivery,
- Affordable transport fares,
- Cargo and parcel delivery,
- Multiple parks across Nigeria.
If you have ever traveled from Abuja or Lagos to the East or South-South, there’s a high possibility that you’ve seen Libra Motors or seen their buses lined up in a park at their own terminals.
Why Libra Motors is Still a Top Choice for Nigerians in 2026
I could list out at least 50 top transportation companies in Nigeria that are competing for the same customers, and you may wonder why People are still choosing Libra Motors over others. The answer is simple and direct, Libra offers the best solution that appeals to thousands of Nigerian travellers.
The Prices Are Reasonable:Ā Luxury is expensive in Nigeria, and not everyone is looking for luxury buses with Wi-Fi, onboard snacks, TV, Curtails, among others. The average Nigerian just want to travel safely without emptying their pockets on Luxurious rides. This is where Libra Motorsā solid selling point is. They are generally affordable compared to more premium transport companies like GIGM and GUO.
Lots of Available Motor Parks and Terminals:Ā Libra Motors doesnāt operate from just one or two cities like Abia Line Motors. They have parks across major cities and hubs in Nigeria, Lagos, the East, South-South, and parts of the North, making it easier to find a nearby departure point, and that is why their Logistics service works nationwide.
Familiar Travel Style:Ā For travelers who prefer the traditional Nigerian road travel system of physically buying tickets, park attendants, or early morning departures at the scheduled time. Libra Motors feels familiar and comfortable to travellers.
Logistics and Waybill Services: As I’ve earlier disclosed, my first encounter with Libra was through their Waybilling service, where I received an item purchased online. Most businesses in Nigeria use Libra Motors to send goods, parcels, and business items across various states in Nigeria.
